Maryland has 12 colleges and

In Spring 2024, the university awarded 9,122
bachelor’s degrees, 3,406 master’s degrees
and 1,286 doctoral degrees. The most popular
undergraduate majors are computer science,
information science, finance, public health
science, mechanical engineering, communication,
and criminology and criminal justice.

Our 12 schools and colleges offer over 100
undergraduate degree programs and 80-plus
minors. Terps are consistently ranked among
the highest achievers in the state, nation and the
